Six to twelve babies, toddlers, preschoolers, or big kids and their parents or caregivers meet weekly in a 45-minute class to sing, dance, play with child-friendly percussion instruments, and have fun with tons of new songs, rhythm chants, small and large movement games, lap songs, using a rich variety of music and movement activities.
Our classes are taught by Registered Music Together® Teachers who have all completed the Music Together Teaching Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey. Our teachers play live instruments in every class and are always happy to show your child the instruments!
Mommies, Daddies, Nannies, Grandmas, Grandpas and more sit with their children in our circle together and participate in the activities led by your teacher. Classes are informal and designed to be high-energy and lots of fun, so the adults, regardless of their musical ability, feel comfortable and encouraged to sing, dance, and play as part of the group - giving the children a joyful experience of group music-making! The children are free to participate at their own developmental level, with some choosing to watch quietly or roam around the room. This is okay and it indicates that there is some very important learning taking place as they soak up like a sponge, all of that musical and developmental stimuli! In fact, many families report that their child may be quiet in class, but once they get to the car and their class CD starts playing, they will sing and dance the day away!
Each family will receive a CD of the class songs as well as an access code to add the music to your mobile device so that the music can continue at home and on the go! The corresponding illustrated songbook further enhances the overall learning from class as you can sing along while reading the lyrics and build vocabulary by pointing out important parts of the picture or music pages. Attending class is only the beginning! Using the take-home materials is what makes the Music Together experience unique!
This is the essential Music Together® class, one that a child can attend from birth through age five through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.

Rhythm Kids® Online is the next musical step for your child with a parent or caregiver. Each week we drum, sing, dance, play rhythm instruments, and begin to play music-based games. Rhythm Kids® Online guides children toward developmentally appropriate music and movement activities, where they can begin to take charge, lead others, and be musically creative, as they:
• make up their own drumming patterns;
• invent new ways to play rhythm instruments (shakers, sticks, etc.);
• create movement ideas for songs;
• and even take a drum solo!
Rhythm Kids® Online follows through on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age eight. This class can bridge the gap between your current Music Together class and formal instrument lessons.

Your child will:
• Explore the world of rhythm through movement, instrument play, and song
